Huston Insurance Agency was established on June 30, 1926 whe S.T. "Til" Huston signed a contract with The Amercian Insurance Company at the back of the Sugar Bowl Restaurant located in the Cutler Hotel on the south side of the town square in Carthage, Illinois. Til believed he could provide his friends and neighbors with reasonably priced insurance backed with personal service. In 1951 Til was joined by his son, Harry Lee Huston, who immediately took to the premise upon which Huston Insurance Agency was established. After Til passed away in 1955, H. Lee continued the tradition of his father in taking care of his friends insurance needs with common sense and understanding. In 1973, the third generation, H. Lee's son, John, took up the mantel of doing the best he could in providing quality insurance coverages at a reasonable price with personal service. H. Lee passed away in 1986, but the tradition continues...
